I understand the gist of the question although it was worded to incite emotion and not logic. I believe liberals at their core are hedonists. I support this argument by listing a few liberal agendas and their consequences. Abortion; no responsibility for great sex. Welfare; no responsibility for earning what you eat. Unconstitutionally stating separation of Church and State; no responsibility to a higher moral authority. All of these and more support a "I should be free to do what I want because it feels good and not be held personally responsible" attitude. Before you automatically disagree, do a gut check and list your own liberal agenda and see after you strip all the rationalizations for it away, if hedonism is the real drive behind it.

No propaganda. You are wrong owing to excessive generalization. It is equally untrue if you said the same about conservatives ... like the old joke "the world is divided into two kinds of people ... those who divide the world into two kinds of people and those who don't." There are in fact a great many varieties of conservative and a great many varieties of liberal... if we reach a situation of such absolute polarization as that, then democracy's pretty much finished and we're in Civil War II. The fact is that conservatism and liberalism are valid political philosophies, each with its own spectrum of viewpoints ... and to accomplish anything in a political system like America's, people have to work out compromises.

1. You accept some sort or entitlement (government pension, welfare, farm subsidy, etc)
2. You have never served in the Military.
3. You claim to be a Christian but you hate gays, women, Jews, Mexicans, and every other person who is not northern European.
