Any anniversary is special. If you can possibly get away on a Friday night at a bed and breakfast inn that would be so romantic, if not, maybe shock him to death by buying something really sexy and meeting him at the door when he comes home from work. (fantasizing because I have been married for 18 years and at that point, take what you can get - ha, ha) Good luck!

Any anniversay is special. My husband and I were married Nov.2004 and we are going away from the weekend and staying at a bed and breakfast. We have 2 kids so getting away for the weekend is great and it won't leave the kids feeling like we went away for a long time.

This will probably happen many more times during your marriage. What is important is that you make her/him feel special. Give a card before hand, and tell her/him how special they make you feel, and how you want to be with them forever. Then mention that you have to work, and ask him/her to choose whether to go out before, or after the date itself.

On the date itself, work or not, call and talk and tell her/him again how special they make you feel. Make sure that you have time to do it when you can talk freely, and are not in any hurry to get off the phone.

Whatever you plan will be great, but do it the weekend BEFORE, so it's early,. and add some line about not being able to wait to celebrate the happiest moment in your life, blah blah....if you do it the week after, that's considered a late gift, and doesn't look good for you!!

every anniversary should be special...its a celebration of your life together...hmmm..do it a week before or after...depends..but make it special for the two of you...do an amzing race kinda scenario..like she waking up and do some series of clues and pit stops...all about her...1st stop- a manicure....second stop a massage..third stop...a dress for her...then forth stop dinner which you prepared...worked for me...so might work for you..Good Luck....

Honey, they are all special. Find something that you both like doing and celebrate each other and your life together. Remember its not about what you do, its about who you are with.
