Your signs are in square (90° aspect) by sign. But we would need to determine if they were by degree as well. We would need full birth data for both people to calculate that. Place, date and exact times.
If they are square by degree than here's an interpretation:
http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry/sun_sun_aspects.html
Sun square Sun in synastry:
Your relationship is dynamic and energizing. You challenge each other to grow and develop, but unfortunately the process tends to be abrasive and frustrating. The differences in your personalities, if not understood and handled properly, can lead to mutual frustration. Your life goals may often be at odds with one another, and this fact can deplete both of your senses of vitality. There can be distinct "ego wars" between you, especially if you are around each other often. Competitiveness can be a real problem. Although it may be pleasantly challenging at times, and especially at the beginning of your relationship, the need to defend one's basic personality can be draining. Your relationship can easily become a love-hate one.
Any sign can be with any other sign! It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.
Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.
The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.
Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.

TAURUS AND LEO
Leo demands constant praise and adulation, and is forever competing with Taurus. As a result, Taurus digs in its heels and gets more sullen with each passing day. Taurus needs appreciation and Leo needs worship, but neither will get what it needs from the other. In addition, Leo is extravagant and Taurus parsimonious. There is a basic conflict between Taurus's desire for a well-ordered schedule and Leo's need for a larger-than-life existence. Sexually, these two are well matched, but Leo thinks life is a circus and tries to perform in all three rings at once. Taurus finds that hard to take, or even to watch.

My dear,
This is not Astrology.....This is Astrobullshitology, and because it makes the $ rolling it is used extensivelly by Publishers, "Astrologers", and all the people who are in the bullsh**ing business in order to get people's money. There is a brainwash wrong way and the masses in generally fall in the trap.
Consider that There are 6 billion (approx) people on earth, divided by 12 signs....each sign represents approx 500 million individualities. Your question is, if and how 500 million can match with other 500 million... The odds are, that 200 million will have match, 200 million won't.... and other 600 million will pretent they are "cool".....Tough luck.
Do you want to know if you have compatibility with a person?????
Have your chart done by a profesional astrologer, have the other person's chart as well and find the matching and challenging points.
Just have in your mind, that Astrology is not fatalistic and "Astrology" never predicts. ASTROLOGERS DO according to their interpretations.
Astrology is just Like a map showing a route from one point to the other....Someone who has driven this road before, knows where is asphalt or where the road has holes and you have to drive carefully. Just take in parallel with the road, the Astrology.
GOOD LUCK:)

When Taurus and Leo come together in a love affair, they can be a great couple because they know how to stroke one another's egos and love to have their own stroked! They have similar needs: Taurus needs plenty of affection, to be loved and cherished, while Leo likes compliments and wants to be adored and admired. They're both extremely loyal and possessive lovers. Since they have such similar desires, they can generally provide for one another's needs quite well.
These two Signs both love status and possessions. They prize physical comfort and luxury; Leo is often flamboyant about attentions and gift-giving, which will greatly please Taurus, who loves the most traditional forms of courtship. Though they can work together quite well, it's not all roses between these two; both Signs are very stubborn and must work hard to understand and accept one another.

I'm a Taurus who's been dealing with a Leo - We bump heads all the time, but we love challenging each other - that keeps it fresh. We're very intense no matter what the situation....but we love each other to death, and I can honestly say that neither one of us would change the other....We're not supposed to be very compatible, but we don't care - for us it's more about our individual selves versus the signs!

No no no...ahaha i'm a Taurus myself. Leo likes to be a leader and the bulls dun like to get push around! *LoL. But well, you can't really believe in these things too much. The thing that matters is how you two are willing to commit and compromise. Don't let anything gone without trying..you might just regret later.
Gd Luck!

Both of you are strong-willed and stubborn, and once you dedicate yourselves (to a person or a project), you will stay with it in good times and bad. Longevity, stability, and loyalty characterize your relationship.
Both of you can be infuriatingly obstinate and inflexible at times, and your personal styles and tastes can often conflict. For instance, Leo is a more social creature, wants to go out more often, and is more daring and colourful than Taurus is. Leo will spend or gamble more freely than Taurus.
But even though you thoroughly disagree sometimes, your commitment is always strong and rarely questioned. You KNOW you can depend on one another. Both of you are so resistant to change that even if you hated each other, it would be hard to disengage yourselves and move on!
Also, you need to guard against becoming so self-satisfied and comfortable in your relationship that you take one another for granted.
Both of you are loyal people who will protect and stand by loved ones in good times or bad. You are both constant in your affections and seek a partner who is warm, steady, and committed, rather than one who keeps you guessing. Material comfort and success are also quite important to you, but for different reasons: Taurus wants the security of money in the bank, as well as the comfort it can buy. Leo has an innate sense of grandness and generosity, and likes to be impressive. Differences in the way you use your material resources could become a major issue between you, and since you are both quite inflexible and opinionated, it may be different to reach a compromise when you do disagree. Leo can be very loud and melodramatic at times, which upsets Taurus who wants, above all else, peace and serenity at home.
There are lots of ups and downs in this relationship, and your feelings towards each other go to extremes. You experience periods of intense emotional excitement and sexual attraction, but at other times you get on each other's nerves and need some distance between you. After your bouts of anger and frustration with each other, your live and attraction for each other bounces back with a freshness and newness that insures that your life together will never become stale or boring. However, the instability of feelings and domestic life may make either, or both, of you long for a more reliable, consistent relationship.
You both may have some difficulty in properly expressing your sexual energies. Pent-up energies may build up, resulting in frustration and anger. Reaching a successful climax together may not be frequent nor satisfying. At times you will have conflicting styles in lovemaking. Mood will always play an important part in your relationship, sexual or otherwise.
Although the two of you are strongly attracted to each other, you often "rub each other the wrong way". Your personal tastes and interests are frequently different. If you try to convince each other that your life style, tastes, and interests are better than your partner's then you will frustrate each other and fail to appreciate and really understand each other. You must accept the fact that the two of you are different people with your own unique qualities. Don't try to force each other to adopt your own tastes, hobbies, and interests, as it will only make matters worse.
Communication problems are a key focus with the two of you. It may seem like pulling teeth to keep a conversation going, or gruelling work simply to get your point across to the other person. Resorting to monosyllabic replies, or talking only when it's necessary to convey some crucial information, may be the result of the frustration you both feel in talking to the other. This is very challenging! However, assuming other aspects of your relationship are really valuable and fulfilling to you, it would be worth the effort to learn to talk - and listen - to each other better.
