That is the amount of money Exxon Mobile earns every minute in profits alone. Bp earns $55,000 a minute. Don't you think it is a crime these people are committing by earning more than ever before, at a time when most people are having a hard time filling their cars at the pump? I think it is a crime and they should pay for it. How can we make them pay?

make it so that they don't earn a big profit at all, just maybe like a penny a gallon or something, gas prices would go way down!

You're right! The nerve of these people to go into business to make money. The sheer audacity. All oil companies should fire everyone and fold tomorrow. In fact, any company that makes a profit should. It's obscene! No more companies! No more products! No more services! They may make a profit! Blasphemy!

They don't control the price any more than coffee growers control coffee. It's a commodity driven by supply and demand in a world market. The oil companies can only help the price go down if they can put more oil into the market. But guess who's keeping them from drilling for more oil.

Yes, I think it's not right for gas companies to charge so much.
I heard from a friend that there is something going aroung to the effect of "no one buy gas from Exxon-Mobile" - because it's their fault that gas prices are so high...
