Stop using plastic bags. Seriously, dude, listen up - if everyone in North America stopped using plastic shopping bags we would save 12 MILLION BARRELS of oil each year. That would definitely drive the prices down so get some resuable shopping bags. I bought some old tote bags from Goodwill and they work wonders!

Trying to do something about the gas prices is like doing something about terrorism. United we could but divided we cannot.
If we were able to use less petroleum based products the energy companies will go up on prices, not down. They have control here. The way to win is solar, wind and other natural types of energy that cannot be controlled by the big companies that are so willing to hold us hostage.

Yes, build more refineries, convert to more wind power/ solar power, allow our oil companies to do more oil exploration. Do not raise taxes on oil, do not punish oil companies for the higher gas prices. Do send all f***ing liberal environmentalists to the most remote areas of the US to live without any type of power and make them not even burn a twig for warm just like they want all of us to be like. We have not increase our refinery capacity for almost 30 years. The environmentalists are more worried about sub species of sub species to care about anything that remotely helps society yet complains the loudest when energy prices go up at all.

You have to go on strike until they lower the prices. The two day theory doesn't work because everyone fills thier tanks up before the two day strike , which totally defeats the purpose!!!!

Vote with your money. Drive less. Buy more efficient cars. Buy flex-fuel cars, or hybrids. Ride a bicycle, walk short distances. Take public transportation, if possible. Corporations only respond to the bottom line.
