have you ever been alone, doing something like washing dishes, and all of a sudden you hear one word, and it's your name? this happens to me maybe once or twice a year. it isn't like a voice inside your head, but a voice spoken out loud. i wonder what kind of phenomonon this is and if you have any ideas on why it happens.

I hate it when that happens, that happens to me on a regular basis. Maybe you're clairaudient, if you don't see anything, and you just hear it, that's clairaudience. It could be a spirit wanting help or, somthing. Try talking to it, see what happens.

Hearing your name called is sometimes a sign of depression. Otherwise, If that's not the case for you, I would guess that your spirit guide is calling to you. To let you know that he or she is with you. Maybe your spirit guide is playful by nature. Or, it could be a family member or friend.
Perhaps a future child of yours.
Is the voice always a man? Woman? Both?

I often hear my name being called, but when I ask my b/f if it is him he always says no. I usually hear a man's voice. I have heard talking as well, two voices talking to each other, like people are in the next room, but no one is there. Don't be scared of it.

I've heard faint voices before. I'd get all weird and freaked out and keep doing what i was doing cause I don't want to see anything. If I was to turn around I'd probably see ....I've Seen something before ghost thing.
Also
I have been woken up by a little boy saying "wake up pretty lady" He repeated it 3x. I woke up and looked for him. No one there.??

The next time this happens to any of you, try saying "yes Lord" because God doesn't usually talk to us in a booming voice, but a small still voice. He may be trying to get your attention.

yes I have and I always ask who it is or how I might help them.Try this next time. It is possible that one of ur loved ones that have crossed over to heaven is just back for a visit and is trying to say hi. Dont be afraid, because thats a sign to celebrate

yes those things have happened to me to. like an almost whisper over your shoulder. but mine happened at work. i was alone at my register . no one in the dept. and i hear the word "hey". like something was trying to get my attention. i find it interesting. some things have scared the tar out of me though. but those are few and far between. you are not alone

Yes. It has happened to me . I thought I heard my spouse call me from another room, but he said he didn't. It is always his voice I hear.

That happened to me before at my old house. One time too, it felt like someone was whispering something in my ear. It was really creepy.
