Our four year wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks and I was wondering opinions on a good gift. (It will be our 12 year dating anniversary as well). Thanks for your thoughts.

Watch? Kind of boring, but that's what I'm giving my husband on our five-year next year. Also, what about a weekend trip? Doesn't have to be fancy, just do what you can afford, but I'm sure he'll appreciate the surprise. Nothing like getting away to add a little romance to your life, too.

I have been married for 18 years and I think my husband's favorite gift has always been the gifts that I can't buy:)
For example, I will get a sitter for the night. And then spend the day cleaning the house and making myself look nice. If I can, I get something special to wear, lingerie, new perfume. I make him a nice dinner or ask him to bring something home (something light, though, you don't want to get too full:)
I light candles all over our bedroom, like 10 or more. And then when he comes home, I meet him with a long kiss. I put him in a big, deep bubble bath and wash him while he drinks a beer or scotch. After his bath, we eat, if he's hungry, or I give him a massage. And then, well, I'm sure you can figure it out. But those are the types of things he likes the best. And it sure is a good way to renew your marraige.

Congratulations. You should probably base that decision on what his favorite hobbies are. For example, if he likes golf, buy him something related to golf.
