well as of right now cell phone providers do not have the ability to do that yet but T-Mobile,Cingular and Cellular one are working on that.

i don't have cingular but i think with most phones u can go to the security thing and go to restrict calls and u can restrict all your incoming calls. of course u won't receive ANY calls so if u want to block out any particular #'s u might just have 2 change your number period.

I do not give them my number. :)

The few times I encountered abusive phone calls from someone, I eventually forwarded my phone number to one of the police phone numbers (not the emergency number), which stopped the calls very quickly. You could also forward the call back to that persons’ phone number and let them answer their own call using caller ID. :)

You may call your service provider and request that they block the offending numbers. Some providers may not offer this service.

You may not be able to, but there is an alternative. Instead of blocking certain numbers, you can set the ringtone to silent. They can still call, but you never have to deal with it.

you can with your cellphone unit. there's a feature there in your unit, it doesn't matter what provider you have. --that's as far as I know. it would depend on your cellphone unit.
