This is a ridiculous question. If there were a steroid league that were separate it would still require the admission/denial of players. Depending on the success of the separate steroid league, we would either see an increase in steroid use (if it were successful) or we would miss out on heckling our least favorite BALCO boys (if it were unsuccessfu). Besides, what a lot of people tend to forget when having the conversation is that steroids are illegal. Having a separate league, regardless its success level, would send a message to children and fans that steroids are okay to use. Moreover, a lot of people overlook the real problem--HGH, for which there is no reliable test yet developed.

OMG this is a great idea. Just because they use roids doesn't mean they shouldn't play. Their still great athletes right? Same for wrestlers, I'm sick of seeing my fav's getting suspended for using. Make a league just for them. Who do we propose this too?

Seriously, we use ""enhancers"" in all sort of professions. Why punish one group and not another. I don't think that it would increase use, it's a choice that's made because of morals not legalities.

It''s like saying don't make pot legal cause more people would use. BS If you wanna use, then you use regardless of the legal aspects. Not once have I ever heard a person say "If drugs were legal I would use them, but they're not so I don't"

I do not promote steroid or drug use, but why punish an athlete for a personal choice. He's not hurting anyone but himself.

Why not ban smokers, drinkers, and cross-dressers from professional sports. Those are all personal choices that aren't hurting anyone else.

There should be NO leagues for steroid players. They do not deserve the honor of playing the game.

that makes no sense, why would a player want to play in that league, they would just not show up.
