why cant i hear the sound wen i play the video on my ipod and why it is a movie instead of a music video?

i downloaded a video from limewire but the file is in realplayer mpeg format & i opened it in itunes & converted it 2 go on my ipod...when i uploaded the video on my ipod, the video plays but i dnt hear any sound...could u tell me wat could be the prob plz...EMERGENCY

Itubes doesnt convert the Video you hvae with audio. Its a bmmer but I suggest downloading one of the programs for converting the videos so that you can hear both audio and watch the vids on your ipod. I also have problems with where the videos are plaved but w/e atleast you hvae the videos there, OR you can always buy the videos from Itunes lol
