I HATE KANYE WEST.
NOT BECAUSE OF THAT COMMENT BUT BECAUSE HE'S A CONCEITED A$$HOLE.

AND BUSH COULD'VE HELPED THOSE PEOPLE MORE BUT HE DIDN'T.
I'M NOT SAYING HE HATES BLACK PEOPLE BUT HE SURE MADE IT LOOK THAT WAY.

Good on Kanye for speaking the truth! I wish more celebrities were like him instead of just sucking up to Bush simply to further their careers/popularity. You live in a free country, so Kanye has every right to express his oppinion.

It's true. What took him so long to speak at a NAACP meeting. And why did he oppose signing the Voter's Right Act of 1965? It wasn't stupid, Kanye was just being a voice for those whose voices could not be heard. By the way Wetbag, or should I say Douche bag, don't use the N word no more! you look stupid by saying it and typing it.

Kanye was expressing how he felt, meaning he didn't think George Bush helped the Hurricane Katrina victims as much as he could of.

....huh, missed that.

WHY do some races insist on think they are being 'picked' on by whining about what THEY DON'T have, or what someone won't do for them- are they OWED something?
This is a racist remark, which is also predjudiced.

Hell, if I was so gung-ho about my ancestors well-being and what all happened to them hundreds of years ago, I would be attacking THAT countries government FOR ALLOWING it to happen.

Is every caucasian in debt to other minorities for the rest of their lives? NOT this chick.

Lord knows, if I lived in a country that was as BAD as the USA and so predjudiced against minorities- I would surely go back to my homeland and live where all my ancestors orginated from - surely there would be better living conditions and opportunites there ?
can you say AMEN?

Here goes any chance of getting best answer, but HE WAS RIGHT! If it were middle class white ppl stuck in that God-forsaken stadium there would've been a quicker response. Whether George Bush actually hates black ppl or not, he definitely didn't help a lot of them out in their most desperate time of need. Those ppl were treated worse than garbage.

Free speech doesn't always equal informed speech. Bush is our Cmdr & Chief, warts and all. Kanye is an artist and deserves to have his opinions.

He said the truth. Good on him.
But the problem isn't race, it's class. George Bush hates poor people. Unfortunately there are a large number of poor people of color in the US.
