I love reptiles, and everything else! Reptiles are so interesting to watch and I love the challange of making them as healthy as possible and making natural set-ups for them. A lot of people get reptiles thinking they will be easy, cheap, and disposable. That is sad, because so many are neglected and die, and the owners don't even know that their pet had a personality. '
It baffles me when I think that snakes, spiders, and rats are most people's biggest fears. Some people rate snakes as being scarier than DEATH!!! My favorite pets to keep are furred, but I have kept/rehabilitated leopard geckos, green anoles, newts, frogs, baby beardies and iguanas, rainbow lizard, and currently have 6 different species of tarantulas. Funny how they are neat pets until they get out of their cage...I just found mine after 1 week and am finally getting some good sleep!

I love reptiles... I run a rescue for Pit Bulls and Reptiles. I personally have 1 striped phase red tail boa, 3 beardies(1 German giant, 1 snow and 1 orange glow), 1 iguana, 1 savanah monitor and 2 red earred sliders.

I would love to have reptiles again - but they give my big ol' truck-drivin' husband the willies, so we have mammals instead. I've had snakes, caimans, iguanas, geckos, skinks... Now I just have rats, cats, dogs and a rescued sparrow that rides the dog around. I still love to go check out the cold-blooded fellas at the pet store, though, and with luck I may get to pick up a snake or two in the backyard this summer.

Dang, you may have more than me... I've got 2 mali Uromastyx, a blue tongue skink, 2 aquatic turtles (red ear and african mud), a Brazilian rainbow boa, and an African bullfrog. I'm looking to get a sand boa eventually and currently have my eye on a baby Egyptian Uromastyx... btw, tegus are awesome! I worked with a baby argentine b/w, REALLY wanted to get him, but I just don't have the room at the moment :-(

Yeah I love all animals but I have a special thing with reptiles. They're my favorite. I'm a snake person myself. I have two now and I'm getting two more Tuesday. I'd have a lot more if I had the room for them.

??? You posted a question about loving reptiles on a section where there are almost nothing but posts from people about reptiles- most of whom love them- or at least their specific pet?
Doesn't this seem like a waste of the points it costs to post questions?
Although I notice that in your list, you skip over all the coolest herp pets. Ahhh, so sad! ;-)

It takes a lot of time to give animals the care and attention they need and deserve. How in the world do you manage so many? Peace!
