Of course!!!! Jump on that chance like white on rice. Take the opportunity to learn the culture, language, and sample what REAL Italian food is supposed to taste like. Try and stay away from the tourist traps, and get out into the countryside, but experience all that Italy has to offer.

No offense, but I really wouldn't take it because America is such a beautiful place with Air Conditioning, Electricity, and such kind people, especially in the South-West. I still don't know alot about Italy, but I am still sure that I would stay in the US. No pressure! And have a great time & trip to Italy!

i'm no longer Italian or Italian American yet after I referred to the preview for the season in which the forged of Jersey Shore is going to Italy, i concept it develop into extraordinary. The educate conveys each and every negative stereotype about no longer merely Italian individuals and Italians yet as well, youthful women persons and adult males and individuals themselves. i'm merely 17 and that i don't like it. it is embarrassing and many times i ask your self in the adventure that they recognize that their fuelling the already negative stereotypes of the above, and that the yank media will leap on each and every thing they do (or what strategic movie modifying and lazy journalism will say they did). they're trading a risk to regulate this international, our society and the themes properly the following, in our united states of america, for repute and a impressive paycheck. repute is fleeting. money would not purchase fulfillment or happiness. the themes of stereotypes, economic and social lack of self belief in this united states of america will proceed to upward thrust if we do not attempt to make a substitute. everyone needs to verify Jersey Shore because it represents "reality television" yet no individual needs to face this genuine reality. i recognize their probable sturdy ppl at the back of the cameras yet merely because the digicam delivers 10 lbs., it also delivers to the negative photos of who we % they're and what they characterize...and the completed international is gazing. Sorry, I digress. Have a tremendous day.

In my situation, I wouldn't because my fiance is moving here from Japan and it's just not a good move for me. If I were 18 and just starting my life, then yeah, I would jump at that. It really sounds like a wonderful opportunity. You won't get many more like it as you get older, so take it now and have fun. Life's too short not to be happy.

I would visit but I am so happy where I live now, I would never leave. I like it right here in the USA but then again, that's just me. Italy is one of the only places outside the US I would want to see. I hear it's absolutely beautiful. I think you should go for it.

I definately would! I could be the chance of a lifetime for you, because when you go to college and start a life, you may become too busy... and then next time you'll have free time is when you're old and retired, and who woud want to go check out all the cute Italians at that age? EW!
Go while you're young and beautiful! :D

Move!! Go!! Get your butt on the first plane out, or boat going out. Enjoy!! Learn!! And when you bring your education back to America, IF you return to America, make your education work for you to get a great university education or some other education to make you a responsible adult in the years ahead. Go for it, young lady!! God Bless you.
