I lied to my girlfriend about where I was. My mistake. I was at an ex girlfriends house just chillin. There were about 20 other people there too. I wasn't doing anything wrong. In the begining of our relationship she told me that she was jealous, so I told her that I was at my sisters house instead. She broke up with me because I lied about my whereabouts.

You could try to start over with dates, presents, love notes. You botched it big time. And it's possible that she might forgive you, but she will NEVER EVER forget! And if she does take you back, it will take you a long long time to get any trust. You broke it and she will always be thinking that you will do it again. She maybe is a bit over jealous and sometimes possessiveness is smothering yet she had warned you. And sneaking around always looks guilty whether it was innocent or not. Good luck. If you love her and want her, this is a battle you chose for yourself.

How do you figure you did nothing wrong? Were you right in telling your girlfriend a lie so you could sneak over to an ex-girlfriends house? Were you right in hurting your girlfriends feelings? Were you right in breaking a trust? Does she now owe you an apology for breaking up with you? You and you girlfriend had a trust. You broke it and you can't fix it. Go ahead and kick youself in the a$$. You've earned it!

You screwed up BIG TIME!
You gave your gf reason not to trust you because you lied to her.
The best thing that you can do now is to buy her a present and BEG for her forgiveness. It won't be an easy road. It may take a while and you have to accept the possibility that she will not ever forgive you.
If you love her, try anyway.

You lied to her. You disrespected her. Why would you tell her you were somewhere else if you didn't think you were where you shouldn't have been without her knowledge? Or without her? It doesn't sound like you're really ready for a committed relationship. You played games and you lost.
