Are you making sure the contacts and well lubricated with saline or something before you try to put them in? If the contacts are dry, that might be the problem. Once the contacts have enough moisture, try this. As soon as the contact touches your eye, turn your finger slightly and gently until you feel or see the contact adhere to your eye, then take your finger away.

Squirt some contact solution on the contact again; sometimes they get a little dry and they don't want to stick. Hold your eyelids open. Move your eye (without moving your head) like you're trying to look at the ceiling and place the contact lens towards the bottom part of your eye. Give it a second to stick and release your eyelids. Move your eye around to get the contact into the correct position.

I hope that wasn't too confusing. Good luck!

u should have clean dry hands when u put them in, that is why it is sticking to your finger. the only wetness u should have on your finger is from the contact itself. dont worry u will be a pro in putting in contacts after a few weeks. i have only had contacts for 3 months and i dont have to look in a mirror anymore.

dry your finger (the one with the contact on it) and try putting a drop of solution into the contact. When you get near your eye, it should stick to the eye.

try to dry your fingers after cleaning..not too dry sweetie but moist and it will help lessen it sticking from the finger always do it with clean hands ok and try not to push much on the eye for it might cause irritations same thing taking it out and don't forget to lubricate eyes when it's drying

dont worry, ur not alone xD i also had a hard time when i 1st got mine... i suggest u dry ur hands and put more solution on the contacts so it will stick to ur eyes instead of ur hand. also, put the contacts on the very tip of ur finger. and practice A LOT ! but stop if ur eyed gets irritated. ask ur friends if any of them wear contacts, and if they do, as them for some pointers.

This subject always concerns me, the Dr's office should go through a teaching with you... go to this site

http://www.drsnorrisandkelly.com/

On the left side of the screen there is a menu, click on 3D Eye Web Library, Scroll down and there is a menu of Contact lens films and you can go through the preparing and applying films and they should help you. Good luck!

It helps if you dry your fingers. I've been wearing contacts for 15+ years now & still can't put them in with wet fingers!

well, if your contacts arent going in that means theyre the wrong kind, and u should go back to the eye doctor, and try another pair. i have O2Optimix and they work great. dont worry, contacts are made to be frustraiting.

I'm assuming you have soft lenses. Kinda look away when you place them on your eye and put them just partly over the iris. Then blink to get them in place.
