you want help? you atleast need to know the names of stuff. when somebody says "whats your stance", he means what direction do you normaly face when skating. goofy means you face left, and regular means you face right. the nose is the front of your board, and the tail means the back. when you bail is when you fall. when you land a trick is when you get back to the ground or the halfpipe after doing a trick. when you hear the word pop in skateboarding, it usualy refers to hitting the tail of your board onto the ground quickly. please, the geekiest thing you can do is lookup or get a dictionary for skateboarding. the deck is the bent plywood, the griptape is the black sandpaper (DO NOT USE ACTUAL SANDPAPER, this sandpaper is special, you need to get it at a skateshop), the trucks is the t-shaped normally metal thing conecting the board to the wheels, and the bushings is the rubber ring in the trucks. the wheels HAVE TO BE FROM A COMPANY, NOT WALMART. walmart is not a skatecompany. and the bearings are the metal ring between the weels holding them against the trucks. It's mostly on them to get the speed you get. get to know companies, skaters and tricknames: you feel left out if you dont.

1. To turn you have to lean over on the side you want to turn at, but don't lean to far where the wheels come up .
2. To do a Manual Front, you lean on the front and while you're going, the back part of the wheels stay up.
3. To do a Fakie Rock and Roll, you have to lean on the back and the front and stay on the top of the ramp.
4. To do walk the dog, you simply put one foot on the end and one foot on the front and step on each end and move like your walking.
5. To do a 360, you put one foot on the back and turn around while the front is staying up. To do a 360, you have to turn around in a full circle.
6. To do a Heel Flip, if your not a ramp then you jump up and press on a side and jump up without the board and make sure it's flipping. Then you land on the skateboard.
7. To do an Ollie, you have to step on the back of the skateboard and jump up at the same time. The board will stick to your feet.
8. YOU MUST WEAR SAFETY EQUIPMENT (as in knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, gloves, hip pads, helmet and shin guards).
This section contains a more detailed description of the most popular tricks:
360 Flip:
1. Place your foot at an angle on the back right edge of your board right near the tail
(Left edge if you're a Goofy foot skateboarder).
2. Your front foot should be near the middle at the same angle as your back foot.
3. Bend your knees, slide your front foot forward and hit the tail of your board.
4. Hit the tail with your back foot as fast as you can to spin the board.
5. At the same time, slide your front foot off the edge and use your toes to flip board.
6. After the flip, catch the board with your feet and land right back on the skateboard.
7. Keep practicing until you can get more height.
This trick is much easier if you already know the Varial flip and 360 Pop Shove-it.
OLLIE:
1. Place your back foot at the tail and front foot near the middle of the board.
2. Crouch down, your hands should almost touch the ground.
3. Slam the tail down and jump up into the air off your back back foot , your front foot should follow.
4. Keep your body centered over the board as you jump and try to keep the board level.
5. Make sure your knees are bent to absorb the shock when you land.
KICKFLIP:
1. Place your front foot just behind the bolts at about a 45 degree angle. Your back foot should be should be in about the middle of the tail.
2. Slam the tail!
3. When the board is off the ground, slide your front foot off the heel edge.
4. Make sure your feet are out of the way as the board spins.
5. Catch the board with your feet while it is in the air and make sure your knees are bent to absorb the shock when you land.
HEELFLIP:
1. Place your front foot just behind the bolts at about a 45 degree angle, your toes should be just over the toe edge.
2. Your back foot should be should be in about the middle of the tail.
3. Hit the tail, at the same time, slide your front foot forward at an angle toward the nose.
4. Flip the board forward over the toe edge with your front foot, then jump.
5. Stop the board with your feet after it rotates, make sure you have your knees up when you make the stop.
