I love everything about this country. I will not say that we don't have flaws in our systems but in what other country do you have the rights and freedoms that you have here. Then you look at the soldiers that are fighting for our freedom and they give their lives for our freedom because of choice not because they are forced into. What other country has had so many people before to have loved their country so much as to voluntarily give up so much for your freedom. I love the way that so many people pull together in the middle of a crisis or just out of necessity. I love the way that this country accepts everyone no matter their religion or ethnic backgrounds. I love the way that we still have the right to write stupid things about the country in which we live and think that you are right. I love the fact that at least someone else that answered thinks it is a bunch of BS. I think a lesson in patriotism is needed.

It is the only country I have ever lived in, so it is what I know. From all the people I know who live abroad for various reasons, even our poor people live better than many in third world countries. Are things totally just--no we are a nation full of humans that have grown more apathic about government and constantly have an argument over how much the government should control.

The one thing I do love is our creativeness and drive to invent.

I love my country and am humbled that I did nothing to deserve it -- I was just born here. We are free to pursue the good life -- note I said "pursue." "You can't always get what you want." It will not be without sacrifice. If you think our country is so bad, you will notice that nothing is holding you here. People from all over the world risk their lives to come here. Maybe you should consider switching places with one of them so you can find out what a really bad life is.

Yes their is a lot of hipocracy but so far as letting homeless people rot and people die, and guns not killing people there are decisions those people can make. There is always people who are caring and willing to help anyone. Thats what I love and the choice to do the best you can if you try.

i love how we allow people to speak their minds, regardless of their opinions.

and i fully agree with Luis B and everything you said (guns dont kill people. they are merely a tool or a machine that requires a human operator to make it work. that said, guns dont kill people, people kill people...it just so happens that the gun is frequently used, just like the knife or the baseball bat)
every issue that you brought up needs to be adressed, but the thing i love the most about the USA is what i said at the beginnin.

I love the fact that people like you are free to say everything cynical thing you just said in your QUESTION, and then sit back and think you are really on to something.
