Everyone is different, some women have irregular periods, as you do, some don't.
The only way I know of to get them regular is to go on birth control pills, as long as you take them, no period, when you stop, once a month, then your period comes.
The reason for your irregular periods might be caused by another problem, before you try ANYTHING at all, go see your doc. first, he/she can evaluate you better then someone on a web site can.

The wonderful world of birth control. It does wonders for that type of thing. I started taking vitamins and it helped it a little but the birth control keeps it the same time every month!

It sounds hormonal.
The #1 hormone - because it can affect the production of all the other hormones - is insulin. Ask your doctor for a fasting insulin blood test . Ask for a copy of your results. 10 or higher is abnormal for an adult.
Also ask for a saliva test. This test will tell you if any of your feminine hormones are not at the best levels. I do not like doctors who prescribe hormones for any feminine problem without testing first. When that happened to me - the shot he gave me switched me from low blood sugar to diabetes.
You may want to check out www.hufa.org, and click on the symptoms link to check yourself out.

I did the very same thing and I didn't straighten out until I had my son he was my 2nd(last) and now I'm as regular as clock work! You'll eventually straighten out, it took me nearly 29 years but I finally got a regular period! Good luck and just be glad you don't them every month!

This is definately not normal. Go visit a gynac. Check if you have anemia and alos get your homone levels checked. But only a gynac will be able to assess your situation correctly. Don't wait...just go visit one NOW!
