i've never smoked any, probably never will, especially if it stays illegal.

because obviously walking in the middle of a busy freeway would kill you, and several other people, smoking week won't spell certain death to you and many other people, so that analogy isn't a good one.

what if i could hold down a job and smoke a little on my own time...of course some people are stoners that can't hold a job, some people can't hold a job anyway and are lazy and dont' do any illegal drugs. there will always be people like that, i dont' think marijuana is the sole cause of that.

there is nothing wrong with it. ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE HAS BEEN BRAINWASHED BY PROPOGANDA AND IS FULL OF SH*T. Weed became illegal for political reasons. Hundreds of thousands of people die every year from cigarettes and alochol, but zero deaths from weed.
I know LOTS of highly successful people who smoke it.
I can go on and on singing the glories of marijuana, but I have other questions to answer.

Actually, it depends on your age.
A study done by the Canadian parliment found that smoking pot as an adult does NO permanent damage. Once you stop, any long term effects go away in about three months.
BUT, smoking pot before the age of 15 results in permanant damage to the brain. It's not reversable.
The argument to allow smoking over the age of 18 and vigerously enforce age restrictions is beginning to gain momentum.

i dont smoke pot but have. when i was in amsterdam i smoked a lot. there is nothing wrong with it. better stoned and stupid than be like my alcholic wife that beats me. but our government can not tax it. everybody would just grow it.
