a few keys quit working 6 of them in a string they are some that are not used much

one data line has gone out, in the keyboard.
Did you spill some drink on it? stress the cord?
Just plug in a different keyboard... cheap answer.

If these keys do not work in ALL programs, then you may need a new keyboard. If they stopped working in only ONE program, then reinstall that program.

try reseating your keyboard cable..
then try... looking for a stuck key...
then replace your keyboard if necessary.

Try another keyboard, and see if that cures it.
