I was wondering if it was painful as well. My son-in-law does tatooing as a little extra income, but hasn't done one on top of the foot. I saw one a couple weeks ago and it looked really good. I know the one on my ankle hurt so am not sure about the top of the foot. If it isn't as painful as the ankle, I will probably get one pretty soon....

I love the idea of putting a tat on your foot. I have 4 on me and that's where I'm thinking of putting my next one actually...I have 2 friends that got one on their foot and both said it hurt like really bad...Honestly, from their input, and our tat artist too, the summertime is the best time to get a tattoo on your foot because you can run around bare footed and it won't get irritated. I would think that getting a tattoo on your breast would hurt a lot more and I did that so I guess if you can handle a little bit of pain, then go for it! Good luck and happy inking.... :)

I'm not sure if it would hurt for a fact but I would bet on it! However, I think it is worth the pain because I kinda want to get one there also!

I dont care for the idea of a girl having a tat there. but thats just me.
It does sound painful, at least as painful as the back of your hand would be.
A cute spot for a tat on a girl, in my humble opinion, is right across her kneecap.
just kidding,
probably something tasteful on one of the shoulder blades would be sexy. As long as its not a trendy angel wing(s).

One of my coworkers got a flower there and said it wasn't that bad. But hers ended up peeling real bad. As for the cuteness it just depends on what it is and how big.

My cousin's got one on their ankles. But personally, I would think long and hard, before getting a tattoo, because 15-20 years from now, it might not be so cool..

NOT ANYMORE PAINFUL THAN ANYWHERE ELSE, IT ALL HURTS BUT IT'S WORTH IT. USUALLY ANY TATTOO ON THE FOOT INVOLVES A LITTLE MORE BABYING THAN ANYWHERE ELSE THOUGH. WEAR SANDALS SO THAT SHOES AND SOCKS WON'T RUIN IT WITH SWEAT AND RUBBING.

i think the pain would vary from one person to the other..just remember that places with the less fat tend to hurt more.........

i don't think tatoos are attractive on anyone...especially women...unless you are ugly already and then I guess it doesn't matter
