To many people, sex is worse than anything else in the world, worse than war, killing, hate, racism, whatever. That doesn't make much sense to me, but I see it in a lot of people. If you are going to discuss sensitive subjects, do it in the right time and place, like this area of Yahoo answers. If an easily offended person stumbles in here, they should figure out how to leave pretty quickly. It's not especially easy to show easily offended people as much respect as they seem to want, but if you can manage to be respectful while discussing the subjects you want to discuss, it helps people learn to be tolerant. That's why we have so many four syllable words where four letters would do...

I'm not offended by the sex questions. I don't like the perverts that post gross sexual questions just to get off on the answers or to be rude. Also YahooAnswers is for all ages (that can get online and that's quite young now) so the questions shouldn't be too rochy. Plus some of these sex "questions" could have found answers if typed into a seach on yahoo or ask, but they post one after another just to get reactions. It's a waste of time and fake.

Some are for their taboos, some for ignorance, and some because the question is really offensive... but the worst of them are the ones who offend by a regular and interesting question just because includes the word "sex"... those are a bunch of hypocrites.

I'm offended it's just when it's not relevent to the LGBT section, but none the less it's put here. I'm sorry, but ******* your dog has nothing to do with being GLBT, nor does having sex with any animal other than a human being.

They get offended because there's no age filter on any part of this service, so...ANYONE can be looking at it. And while I think you should know what your kid is doing if they're not old enough to read respectfully phrased questions, the fact is parents in this country want someone else to do their job for them.

I have no problem with sex questions. I do have problems when all the "questioner" is doing is trying to offend, schock and shame.
The difference in those questions is obvious.

'cause its taboo in almost all the societies, that's why. And we get trained (or brain-washed!) under the influence of religions and governments, to think of it as a bad thing, unless performed in the privacy of your bedroom.
