im going to order bare esentials..it a make up..does anyone have it? is it good?

I've tried it and didn't like it. First of all, it's complicated and messy since you are using loose powders. Second, it's tough to blend evenly (this may not show if you pick a color that matches your skin tone, but I tried a darker color on the underside of my arm to see how well it REALLY blended, and it doesn't) and it has mica in it, which means under good light (sunlight) it sparkles...definitely doesn't look "bare"!

L'Oreal's Bare Naturale is better, it doesn't sparkle and blends well, and I've heard that Everday Minerals is good also. I ordered a free sample from them at everydayminerals.com. I would do that if I were you...you can pay $3 shipping for a free sample of that as opposed to a lot more for a whole bunch of products from Bare Escentuals.

And, you should ALWAYS wash your face at night...even if you can leave it on, you shouldn't...yuck!!!

I heard it is good, but after reading BB answer I went to the everyday mineral site and ordered the samples. This site gives you 5 samples for only a 3.65 shipping charge...depends on your zip code. Hey take BB's advice and try the samples first. The Company is small and from Texas...so they probably can do this with the samples because there is not a lot of overhead and still a small Internet company. Bare esentials does not even do that....It is far better to try a sample first. I think you can go to Sephora or Nordstrom who also sells it to try before you buy.

Yes, I own it!! I've been using it for several months now, and the price is definitely worth it. The starter kit comes with a DVD for instructions on how to apply the makeup. It makes my skin look very clear and fresh! I've gotten so many compliments ever since I've used it. On the down side, it is a bit time consuming, because there are a lot of steps. Just remember to give yourself some time in the morning before putting it on. People always ask me what my secret is, and I get excited to tell them that it's Bare Escentuals.

Ive used the Bare Minerals for quite a while in addition to regular makeup. Just got the Everyday Mineral's free sample and I'm sold- Better colors(or at least easier to figure out ) and it has 2 finishes(original glow and semi-matte) so you don't have to look shiny, and it costs less. I like it!

I use it and I really like it. It's great because you can decide how much or little you want to use, want a natural look? Then just use a light dusting. If you want more for say a party, it's easy to apply more! Plus it adds a nice glow to your skin! I would suggest you buy some!

I've been using bare minerals for years. I love it. It covers well and makes your skin look healthy. And the best part, it's actually good for your skin and you don't have to wash it off at night.

I love it. My problem is that I have blemishes, and sometimes using a powder can make my skin look dry in places. Other than that, I really like it. They also have great chapstick too. It's worth the money.

I have used it for years. It is great! I tend to break out, and I have noticed that my skin is clearer because it doesn't block pores. I have recently changed to Arbonne and I like it a little better (although it is a little more expensive) because it doesn't have as much Mica in it.

I was going to order it to, till my friend told me how it dont work as they say. She introduced me to Lorel and I belive its cover girl mineral powder and its nice! You get more, pay less, 9-12.00 and it last the day. :)

It's good because it's not heavy on your face and it's not cake-y. It doesnt clog your pores either.
