I have an E1505 with 512mb ddr2 ram....x1300 256mb hypermemory.....60gb 5200 rpm hdd.....truelife screen.....what do you think of it??

I just got it! It seems to work very well. It's fast, and very attractive looking. I hope when I'm trying to run Photoshop, itunes, microsoft word, and the internet at the same time it works well, unlike my five year old dell. :D Perhaps some more specific questions about performance or what not would help us give you better answers!

i use the dell xps m140, which is similar to the inspirion e1405

so screen is slightly smaller, rest specs similar

yes the e1505 is a great machine & an enjoyable experience, with above specs i see it's good enough for almost all jobs except hardcore gaming & intensive video editing

best i like is the operating system, xp media centre 2005

update windows media player to 11
internet explorer to 7

and u have a truely great experience

do not forget to uninstall all the extra's and trial software u do not need
