What should I wear, and is it really all that bad?

Nope it is not that bad at all. I'm going to be a sophmore this year, freshman year kind of creeped me out a little though. Just wear something cute, comfy, and stylish. Follow the dresscode if you have one and don't be going to school with your chest and butt all hanging out, you get more respect. Good Luck!

I'm about to be a senior and the best advice I can give you is to not be fake or be a poser. If you want to look great, then find a piece of clothing or jewelry or whatever that you don't think anyone else will have. You'll look unique and and you'll be your own person.
I know this isn't about what you should wear, but another great piece of advice is not to talk about people or give anyone dirty looks no matter how they are acting because that's a sure fire way of getting enemies and you don't want that.
But just be yourself and have fun! High school is great, you have much more freedom.

no it is not all that bad. I was a freshman last year. I know is sound like a teacher or parent or something but JOIN CLUBS and they don't have to be stupid clubs. i guarantee that there is a club where all the "popular people" join and it can be the most random club. mine happens to be key club. This way you can meet new people. go for the preppy look. this look never fails. if you want to try another look wait until a couple weeks after school and see what is popular at your school. Highschool is so much better than middle sch ool and atleast at my school they give you a lot more freedom. I was completly lost the first couple of days but it gets easier especially if you meet people especially upperclassman. good luck

I like the clothes at like pac sun, im into the sk8r-surfer look, but i jus wear jeans usually an a nice shirt, and just always have like a new pair of k swiss, or etnies, nikes or whatever!

high school will either be the worst years of your life or the best years of your time
be yourself
work hard and get straight A's
study for the regents
study in advance for the SAT
dont worry, you will make some friends
i know, cause i am in my third year, no such thing as freshmen friday

whatever your personality is. if you dress like a prep, you'll prolly have preps as friends. So if you don't like preps, dont' dress like one. Same goes for any other clique in HS. Actually, i thought that HS was a lot easier than Junior High. Everyone is a lot more mature and it's jsut a blast!

it's not all that bad wear something casual but comfortable and just pay attention and do your work...you don't want to start out messing up because it WILL affect you later on when it's time to go to college if you're considering

the best look to go for is well....YOU!!!! the best thing to do is just be yourself and screw wat anyone else has to say. dont ever let anyone else tell u whats "in" or "out" WHO CARES!!! live life your way and dont spend your time worrying wat everyone else thinks about u, just think your the queen of the world and your beautiful and let it shine through!!!!!
