I have noticed how people immediately go for Wolverine because of his mutant powers but there is one thing they all seem to be forgetting, Batman is smarter. There is an old saying that states "Brains over brawn." It is kind of like the Thriller in Manilla with Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. George Foreman was the undefeated and undisputed Heavy Weight Champion of The World and the stronger and favorite to win. He was a beast and at the time thought to be unstoppable. Despite being the stronger of the two, Ali was the smartest. He knew that he couldn't beat Foreman by going toe to toe with him so he used his head instead. He went with his all famous strategy which he entitled the rope a dope. All throughout the fight, Ali covered himself and let Foreman pound away one ineffective blow after another until Foreman tired himself out. That is when Ali went in for the kill. I know Wolverine has mutant powers but he is also a hot head who lets his emotions get the best of him. Throughout all of the X-Men movies and story lines he is always in need of constant counseling. Batman on the other hand is smart, cool and collective. Keeping this in mind, accompanied with his wide variety of gadgets and toys (I am sure he has an adimantium proof suit of Bat Armor laying around the Bat Cave some where) I am predicting Batman would pull of the upset.
