a step child of mine tried to commit suicide. After a couple of days I felt that me and my biological child should spend the day away from all of the drama. When I walked out of the house I was greeted by 2 police officers who were called in because my wife reported that I was trying to kidnap my daughter.

This is obviously a high-stress time for all of you right now, and emotions are running rampant.... Try to not take things to heart... I assume the police didn't do anything since you're on here now, right? In that case, try to be the one person in this that is seeing the bigger picture.... when people get hurt or scared (which happens when someone tries to commit suicide), there is a "fight or flight" thing that happens, so there might be a lot of people either trying to ignore it, or people who might go into creating a lot of chaos.... see it as it is rather than get offended.... this is such a hard time, especially for parents and siblings.... love each other and give as much as you can, even if you don't get it back in the way you think you should at the moment.... that is love: sometimes you give more than receive, and vice versa. Try as best you can.... Best Wishes, and I'll Pray for You and Your Family!

Yeah, it's hard to be with someone you don't trust. I am trying to get through some trust issues myself with a friend. I try not to be suspicious, but I second guess everything he says now. Maybe we both can learn to trust again in time, maybe not. If you love her, I guess you should try. Is the relationship good otherwise? Sorry about your step-child... hope she is okay now.

It may not be easy to remain transcendental in a situation like this. But, all these things get back to karma. So it is like the weather. Sometimes there is tornadoe that destroys everything, but then so many days go by the weather is pleasant and tolerable.

Yeah, I have had someone do something to me that made me loss complete trust in them. I am only 15 and I have never had a serious relationship. Well, the last relationship that I was in, all he wanted was sex and wanted me to have sex with him. So the last time that we say each other, he was a pushy and wanted it so bad that he tried to molest me. I have yet to talk to him and I will never let myself talk to him. I have no trust anymore in him because of what he did.

Although this is no where in the same league with your problem, my ex was the cause of us having to file bankruptcy because he didn't pay some major bills. It a longer story but that was the main reason he is now my ex.
