How do I put contacts onto my apple ipod mini?

I was reading my ipod settings screen and it said that i could download contacts (phone numbers) but it really don't go into detail of how exactly how I could do it so I need someones help! Please anyone help!

I don't know, but I would try glasses first, contacts are pricey.
