Lower your calories. I"m 5'3" and a medium build. I have to stay under 1500 a day to lose weight. That means keeping a notebook and writing down everything you eat and drink and keeping a running total of calories. I try to limit myself to 300-400 each meal and leave a little breathing room for a snack or treat once a day.

One of the biggest enemies of weight control are soda/pop. One Coke has over 140 calories. If you drink four a day, that's over 500 calories just in beverages. If you drink soda, cut that out first...or switch to a diet version at all times. Then work on cutting out other big calorie items that you may be eating like candy, Little Debbies, chips, .....

If you don't want to cut out things you eat or watch what you eat, then you will need to increase your physical activity to burn the calories. It's easier to cut down on calories than trying to burn them with exercise.... Though you should be doing both to be healthy. They don't burn as fast as you think.

To reduce your weight, eat healthy-vegetables,fruits, whole grains.
Exercise daily- running, biking,swimming, any physical activity that gets you to break a sweat and gets your pulse going. Drink more water, rather than soda or juice. Also, just walking can help.

I echo the others' answers. there really is no quick fix, so dont waste your time and money on them. eat normal foods 3 meals a day just smaller portions, drink alot of water, if you must snack make it a LITTLE one or fruit, and most of all exercise even if it is just a walk for a mile or so.
