We have a economy friendly car,a small 2 door honda that normally cost us about 12-15 to fill up now we pay almost 30 and its not filled. It cuts into the spending bi time and driving around is limited as I dont want to lose money going to the mall by using gas and buying stuff. there is a lot more walking going on.

I won't be vacationing this summer. I have sold my boat and the Travel Trailer is on the chopping block next. I don't travel around my state anymore either. What I am hoping for is the bottom to fall out of the oil market like it did in th 80s and gas goes way down again. I think the oil people should be punished for this.

I haven't driven in 10 years and I don't intend to do so again. I don't intend to own another car again. I have found that public transportation and rides from relatives and friends have kept me less affected by the gas prices than most.

I don't believe in price gouging. We have a free economy - price is controled by supply and demand.
