Tattoos hurt the worst on sensitive and ticklish areas. The wrist/ankle/ lower back can be very tender places, also the inside of your forearm. Try up near your shoulder on your back or if you're so daring, your upper arm. Personally on girls, I always thought on the thigh was kinda cute. You can pull up a skirt just a little bit and you have this flirty lil tattoo, kinda fun :)
Anywhere you get it will be painful, but no where will be unbearable. Just be sure of your decision, and don't fall into the addiction thing and end up with 5 tattoos in 2 months. Cause it's easy to do!

I can honestly say that having 4 (1 on each shoulder blade, 1 on my boob, and 1 on my calf), the one that hurt the most is the one on my boob. My first one was on my calf and that one wasn't too too bad. I sat there listening to music, eating Chinese food, and talking to my friends....If it's your first tattoo, just ask around and find an artist who is pretty light handed. That's what I did and the results were fantastic.....Have fun and good luck.

I have many tattoos and I can say the arms are the best place, but fatty areas have nothing to do with it. By the way the worst is the stomach.

Where ever you are the meatiest at. I got two on my boobs and they didn't hurt at all, I fell asleep in during one of them. None of them hurt that much no matter where you get it. They stop and wipe the area so often that it's really not to painful.
