Pitchers are usually bad hitters. But this lefty, who won 89 games in 6 years and set the World Series record for scoreless innings also hit 714 life-time home runs and had 60 in one year. Who was he?

For starters only? i assumed Mariano Rivera is the toughest pitcher to hit. besides, Clayton is only too youthful and his profession is only too short to make that acquire that style of comments because of fact stuff regress. Even Lincecum and Santana's stuff regress and you do no longer understand how nicely the hitters will adapt to his pitches. Plus, the greater strike you throw, the lots greater in all probability you will get hit. solid pitchers would desire to discover a stability by using proscribing the wear. no longer only avert being hit or only only throw strikes. And confident, for his youthful profession, he's the toughest beginning pitcher to hit.
