a box contains 3 yellow,2blue,4 red pencils

choosing yellow = 3/9 = 1/3
choosing red = 4/9
choosing yellow then red = 1/3 * 4/9 = 4/27

choosing blue = 2/9
choosing yellow = 3/9 = 1/3
choosing blue then yellow = 2/9 * 1/3 = 2/27

choosing blue = 2/9
keeping it so there is 8 left: 1 blue, 3 yellow, 2 red
choose red = 4/8 = 1/2
choosing blue keeping it and choosing red = 2/9 * 1/2 = 1/9
