it is a 2 stroke but oil and gas are mixed by internal pump and not premixed like most 2 strks. there is a plastic plug on front of case but no way to see any oil. no dipstick (bsides me:-)

Your watercraft is oil injected. I forget where, but there is a oil tank to fill with 2 stk oil. This feeds to an oil pump that mixes the correct oil ratio. Ask you local dealer where it is and what oil to use( stay with a good oil). The oil injection is very good, don't remove it, some people say to, but please don't it is very reliable.

I don't believe so. if you mix oil with the gas, it is a 2 stroke, and requires on oil in the crank case, as the pre-mixed gas will flow threw the crank case before entering the combustion chamber. This method will lubricate the lower case while injecting the upper case, without causing friction do to oil consumption in the lower case. ? do you pre-mix the gas for this machine. If not you may have a problem.

im sure it does... i dont know of ANY engines that can run without oil in the crankcase....so yes..i do believe tath it requires oil in the crankcase.
