i have a friend who is a boy :-). he is very kind to me. he may like me, but i am not sure about it.
Last week, he must fly to work in another country for 1 year. On his departure day, I was sick so I couldnt see him off at the airport. I called him to say sorry about it. And he said: " U are sick since u lack of 1 thing - a boy friend"
What is the meaning of his sentence? What is he thinking?

Maybe hes not interested and he thinks there is someone better. Meaning you only want what you cant have. Its ok. It just wasn't meant to be.

He's giving you a sign that ur missing something which is him, being your boyfriend because the people u end up being with for a long time feeling starts to come out but are still being hidden until the other feels the same way about them. But anyway i think u should just confront him about his little statement and see what he says.

It means he wants the relationship to be over. Instead of saying goodbye and ending it before he left he is taking the chicken way out and putting some kind of blame on u for a situation u could not control.
