The enemy of my enemy is my friend. We will see how thick is the hatred between Sunni and Shiia. Do they hate each other more than they hate the Jews. I don't know. Time will tell.

Not likely. Cooperation would be a death-sentence for Hezbollah. They currently enjoy representation within a democratic government, one that is recognized by the international community. In other words, they are a legitimate political party who enjoy the protection of the nation-state. This is very different from al-Quaeda.
al-Quaeda grew from Sunni Islamic fundamental extremists. Hezbollah grew from the Shia resistence fighters in Lebanon, after the 1982 Israeli invasion. The groups have different core values. al-Quaeda is focused on reducing/eliminating the Western influence on the Islamic faith and Islamic affairs, whereas Hezbollah was/is focused on Lebanon. Hezbollah is a nationalist protection group, an armed Lebanese militia. In addition, other faiths within Lebanon, such as the Christians, support Hezbollah both as an armed militia and as a civil development sponsor.
So, simply put: No, they will not cooperate.

I could see it happening if one group got to weak and they asked for the other's help. Each has too much pride I think to ask for each other now

I think that what has to happen for that to occur is their culture has to be watered down so that they beleive less in their culture and more in ours. Not that i agree with it but divided they fall.
