You can learn online for free at http://www.algebrahelp.com/. It has online lessons, worksheets, and some other helpful stuff.

get a scientific calculator - graphing calculator is even better if they let you use it
Then learn to use it inside and out
- learn to graph on it
- learn to enter an equation and see the table of substitutions

then when you are stuck - you can enter it in and find the answer - then you can try to work back from there for the work

also, when taking a test - if you have no clue, make something up! if you have to solve for a, b and c and you can't figure out how to start, begin like this: a=1 then figure out b and c. You may get partial credit, by proving that you can do something. And if a actually does equal 1 - you just lucked out. Never leave a blank

algebra was simple for me. some complicated and some easy. just stick to it and youll learn. good luck with that

yes its very good to learn Algebra u shd start with pre-req and go on its fun to learn all this ....
