you can record actions in photoshop. right next to history is action. start a new action. and hit record. change yer jpg to ping. then stop recording and save the action.

you might not be able to have it run on all 400 pic but 20 at a time might work with out killing yer computer.

there may also be a program out there that can do it for you too

compupic pro i think, i know it can resize on a batch process

good luck

even if you have to do each pic individually still use the recorded action and that will save you a ton of time

Sadly I do not use Photoshop so I do not know if it will do such batch jobs.

Why PNG??? Are you into digital scrapbooking and are sharing your stuff???

I use PhotoImpact and Paintshop Pro. Because of this, I often turn Tubes into PNG so I can use them with both programs...and sometimes I turn PNGs into Tubes because I can handle Tubes in PSP better than I can PNGs.

Good luck in finding the answer....although I can guess that as soon as I hit preview and then submit I will see a million answers to your question.

I suggest you to record an action for this in photoshop. Record it once and use batch automate command. Refer photoshop help > actions

well you better free up some time, buddy, because the only way i believe you can do it is just one-at-a-time...

Might want to buy a box of energy drinks and some chips to keep you busy while you are doin all that work, hehe...
