George Bush did not cut taxes, he DEFERED them (that means you have to pay them LATER for you ditto-heads). Bush and the so-called conservatives are spending money like drunken sailors. The loans Bush has taken from China and other countries has far exceeded the amount of the so called tax cut, even before you factor in interest. I’ll take “tax & spend” over “borrow & spend” anyday.
Why don’t Republicans realize that sooner of later the Chinese are going to want their money back?

Having money is your pocket is a BAD thing if you steal it from your kids without asking. By asking Congress to raise the National Debt ceiling FIVE times, that is exactly what he has done.

I don't think the Republicans care as long as their own pockets are being lined with cash. It's going to be a sad day when working class people realize they've been ripped off with the so-called "tax cut" and at the same time their homes are suddenly occupied by a Chinese family for whom they are working as housekeepers and laborers.
It's too bad people won't wake up to what is really happening.

kudos to chuckles. Don't you get it. If we taxed and spent we would also borrow. The government is a spending machine and it will spend every penny it can get it's hands on. Cutting taxes is the only way to slow this spending down and to keep the government's pace of growth slower. All republicans have grown the government but I would imaging the growth would be faster if they didn't cut taxes.

heh liberal did you know that the top 10 percent income brackets pay 90 percent of the taxes. so if taxes are cut the ones who benifit the most are the ones who pay the most. yet the dems come right and say ''tax cuts for the rich''. not the whole truth. its tax cuts for everybody but the rich pay the most so their taxes would be cut the most.once the liberal spin machine gets their hands on a story they turn it into a conspiracy every time and thats why america dosent vote for them because they dont trust them..

Republicans are doing this for their campaign in the next elections. Saying that there are tax cuts instead of deferrals. Loans from China are not supposed to be made because there taxes supposed to be collected but not to be deferred.

You see, repuglicans are the most mentally diminished of the populace, or dimwits, they get their news from one source and get their opinions from another, they do not have an original thought. It is hard to think when the other people in the trailer court are making so much noise. They will never figure out that most of them got $20 while the very few got millions. They even deny it.

He wants to make the tax cuts permanent. The Democrats will fight it. I guess its better to sell America to china than to borrow money from them. Our deficit is reducing quite nicely because of the tax cuts.

Because there were SEVERAL, all for the top one tenth of one percent of the population. They couldn't squeak by on 1.8 million a year.
