A word or phrase formed by reordering the letters of another word or phrase, such as satin to stain. So if you take the longest word you know and take out letters to make more words this is an anagram.

It's a word game.
You take a word and break it down and rearrange the letters to make other words. In the board game variation you take other players words by adding letters that create new words.
Be careful though, it will become habit-forming.
