i was told that the song When The Tiger Broke Free by Pink Floyd is the saddest song in the history of music.
apparently this song was in the movie The Wall, but was not included when the band released the soundtrack, also titled The Wall

Rocket Man, by Elton John, from the 1972 album "Honky Chateau". It conveys alienation-"all the science I don't understand-it's just my job five days a week"; "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids-in fact, it's cold as hell"-a close second would be David Bowie's "Space Oddity", where the central character (astronaut 'Major Tom') loses it and tells Ground Control he's going to check out (kill himself). Both are rock classics!

- "Ex-Factor" by Lauryn Hill
- "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey feat. Boyz II Men

Darius Danesh - Live Twice
Darius Danesh - Journey's End
Both songs were written to express his feelings to his father who had very advanced terminal cancer.
Amazingly, a miracle happened and his father went into remission
