Most of the time you can find property ownership records from the county where you live. Find out which office deals with property taxes and that's where you'll find the information, which is usually available to the public.

Go to your states property appraisal website. Type in the address and it will give you the name and address of the person who owns the property and you can get the phone number from the phone book once you have the name and address of the owner. It will be the county appraiser of the county in which the house is located. It is really simple to use.

If you have the name and city of the landlord, call information on the phone and ask for the number. At&t information is 555-1212

If you look in your phone book you may have a local information number to call. If he is unlisted perhap you can get the operater to connect you without giving out the number.

if you don't know the name of the landlord, check with city hall. it is public record. once you have the name, either look it up in the phonebook, call information or check out www.yellowpages.com. there is a section there where you can plug in the name of the person you are looking for. and it's free. the internet is a wonderful thing!! good luck!!
