i have a friend who is a boy :-). he is very kind to me. he may like me, but i am not sure about it.
Last week, he must fly to work in another country for 1 year. On his departure day, I was sick so I couldnt see him off at the airport. I called him to say sorry about it. And he said: " U are sick since u lack of 1 thing - a boy friend"
What is the meaning of his sentence? What is he thinking?

he could have been saying that u are sick cuz u are lonely and that u need to be with someone. and maybe he thinks that someone is him. if u like him...go for it. but if u don't, don't lead him on and let him think that there could be something more, tell him u like him as only a friend. but if u like him as more than a friend then call him up and tell him, and try to set something up for when he comes back. either way...good luck.

just take it as it is for now..dont put too mcuh meaning otherwise it will keep you wondering all the time..he's gone anyway,..you cant do much about it for now even if you want to..its a year without him..wait and see..if he still calls you and still the same even if he's far, then, maybe talk it out with him when comes back :) but right now, go on with your life...if he's serious about you, he'll do something more even he's far :)

He is saying that he thougt you were sick because he was leaving. He is also saying that you need a boyfriend, and he prolly wishes he was your boyfriend.
