vote your core belief's and values, never be a slave to any party . sources me, a centrist and independent for 12 years. see the guy below me he starts off the premise your a dick head. then he brags he is a democrat, then after the ten minute spiel of knocking you down then he welcomes you on his terms ! no class phony! that is why i am a independent.

What makes you think we would want a dick-head like you in our party anyway? We Democrats are for the people. We are not slaves to the party system. Our party works for us. On the other side of the aisle are the bosses and boss wannabes. They sold their souls to the corporate world and that is why they have no empathy for the plight of mankind. And mindless jerks like you are their pride and joy. Without you they couldn't get away with all the foul s--t they pull.
But, if you do have an epithany (sp?) we will forgive you and welcome you into the fold. You see, we are the party of heart and hope, unlike your party of despair and greed.

Unfortunately, there's really not a hell of a lot of difference. Bush wildly expanded Medicare. Clinton expanded trade (NAFTA). Both appeal to 'sacrifice' & volunteerism. Bush dumped bombs AND food on Afghanistan, knelt before enemies in Iraq (before a masque), claims 'global warming' man-made...
We need a non-statist alternative.

The next best thing is switching your votes to the guy/gal who offers you the most for your vote.
