I've noticed that too, fortunately my brain just screens them out. If I actually read all of those I think I'd go crazy. They've got to get some kind of filter in here that would put all the nutty questions into a special section called "Losers" :-) Seriously, I think a lot of people are just fooling around with this Yahoo answers, in a kind of silly way; those are mostly kids. They're experimenting with the medium or they're bored and lonely. A lot of adults probably ask funny questions too...some of them are just plain wacko. But you've got to admit, these kinds of questions are pretty funny and make me laugh sometimes! And sometimes I answer them too, which makes me worry about myself :-) By the way, how do we know WE'RE sane????!

Yea, thats because about 1/2 the people (or more) on this planet should be in a "nut house" to.

There are a lot of nonsense questions at various times of the day. How much are young children wanting to try out new language and get attention versus people who just want to be annoying and get attention versus people who want a question in print versus nuts is beyond me since you only see the profile someone wants you to see.

Yeah, they probably do. But, my mom always tells me that I belong in a nut house. You can't really tell whether or not anyone belongs there simply by reading their questions/answers.

not really. some folks like to blast anonymously hiding behind the keyboard, perceiving no accountability.
i wouldn't assume they are nut cases, but many lack some self control, maturity, language skills, and apparently a 3rd grade education.
it's all good. everyone needs a venue.......

yeah-lotsa people begin trippin' in ways well-balanced people don't even think of. why, just a few moments ago, I read of a "femme" who wanted to know a song title and that not knowing it was "driving her crazy"...which spurred me to reply:
