I got an e-mail from a high school reunion the other day. I never really cared in school why should I care now? Has anybody changed or are they all the same stuck up jocks they were in high school? Not all of us could afford sports it wasn't our fault we couldn't play but the question is are you going to your reunion and why?????

I went to my 15th reunion. I was by no means popular... people knew me, but as an overweight teen, I was less than popular. It's amazing how 15 years become the great equalizer.

The majority of the people who spoke to me had never given me the time of day in school. Cheerleaders were fat, football players were starting to lose their hair. Because I'd always been fat, I was quite the fashionable one there, knowing where to get fashionable clothing in my size. LOL!

You didn't say which reunion this is for you, but I'd say go... you can always leave. My 25th reunion is in a few weeks but I'll be in another state when it's being held. I'm almost bummed because I've run into a few gals I knew in school... cheerleaders and jocks... and ALL are plump ladies with grandchildren now. ROFL! I'm no different than I was so I get nothing but compliments.

Welll.... most ppl go to this stuff to laugh at how bad the popular's life has gone :D... I would specially recomend the 10 yrs reunion bc all the jerks r bold and all the pretty popular ones r fat.... And if not them by the time u reach reunion most of the ppl in the generation have matured... MOST bc some ppl never do... and who knows... u might even make some new friends u'd never thought u'd have.

Yes, I go. A lot of people who weren't friendly in school are glad to see their old classmates after time goes by.
I think it has something to do with not being a teen-ager any more.
And for those who still have teen age grudges, there's always the chance that some of the stuck up people are fat losers now.

I hated the high school I graduated from. I won't go to a reunion if they even bother to send me an invitation.

People change. You won't even recognize half of them and they won't you either. If you're polite and likeable, they'll talk to you like they would talk to a polite and likeable co-worker. So, it's totally up to you. I enjoyed my reunion for many reasons. I was excited to see some of my old friends, but I met people that I either never knew or just didn't remember. It was cool.

The farther you get out from high school the more you will feel like reconnecting. You will find that the way kids were in high school is not at all they way they are as adults.

If you don't care about meeting your old classmates and feel perfectly comfortable with your current friends, don't go, nobody is making you do it... or is it?
