Noone; he didn't want anyone to. Instead the newspapers are running "classic peanuts".

The cartoons we see in the paper are old cartoons that the family of Charles Schultz decided to reprint no one is doing the Peanut comic strip anymore.

The Peanuts strips are all reprints.
Shoe, Heathcliff, The Phantom, & Dennis the Menace are 4 strips(that I can think of) where the artists have died but other artists or assistants are still cranking out fresh strips.

I love the peanuts strips. I think they should put in the really old ones too. I would like to see new ones but it's too bad we won't ever. I love Snoopy the best! My mom collects A BUNCH of snoopy stuff.

They are putting the old ones in the paper, like reruns! The sad thing is, I KNOW they're from the '60s, because I REMEMBER most of them from the books.

I think my good friend Cornfunkle is going to start writing them. I'm sure the strip will change somewhat. Can't wait to hear Lucy talking about her noony problems!
