many times, when they were sad
your e-mail made them smile a bit
in fact it made, them glad?
For the time you spend sending things,
and sharing what you find,
you make me so happy,
you're a true friend of mine.
Did anyone ever tell you
how much it means when they're blue,
that the only thing that comforts them
is the friend they find in you.
I believe that without a friend you are
missing out on a very important part of life...

wow! i love that poem! it is worth a ten and even more! it is so inspiring and romantic. you know you could get any girl eating out of the palm of your hand? girls like guys who are detailed!

Very Hallmark moment there. To make that poem special to someone, try writing it in calligraphy on some nice parchment paper. The only thing I'd do is take out that "e-mail" and put in "your words", it will not date the poem to a specific era of time and it will sound even more personal.
I'll give you a ten if your wrote it from your heart.

Definitely a 10. Anyone who would take the time to make someone feel better about their life and that they have a friend is worth a ten. It also is a pretty good poem.

You want a 1-10 rating? I am a poet myself and can spot a beautiful poem @ anytime. And from a one to ten, I'd give it a 9. It made me feel special just reading it. I wouldn't mind being your friend!

That's a very nice poem! Good job! The only thing was that it reminded me of that "Beaches" movie theme song: "Did you ever know that you're my hero?"
I'm going to give it an "9" - if someone wrote that for me, I'd be so flattered!
