hmmm....
it's basically part of their celebrity status. celebrities don't want to be critisized for wearing old clothes or wearing the same clothes everday. celebrities are also fashion models, they advertise the brands they wear.

Betcha it isn't even their idea; I'll bet the manufacturers and designers are lined up from L.A. to San Francisco to clap their products on the stars. And, I'll also bet their agents encourage the stars to oblige them.

Would you want to see your fav. celebrity in torn old jeans and dirty shoes. You wouldn't them as appealing as you do when they are in new clothes.
