Anything controversial i.e. abortion, gay marriage, or anything you feel passionate about, because thekey to persuasive speeches is to actually care about the topic and want others to believe what you do. Good luck!

I would probably write one on school uniforms, which I'm against, or something else you feel strongly about. Some argumentative topics could be.... abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia(which is putting a person to sleep, or killing them), legalizing drugs, gay marriage, I dunno.

You can make it on uniforms in elementry schools or the walk outs in high schools for the the law that doesnt let immigrants cross the borders

To persuade people to agree with you? Or to persuade people to do something? I say, choose something controversial: Abortion, stem cell research, illegal immigration. There's tons of information on them, the pros and cons are very clearly stated, and if you make yourself look really smart by talking about them intelligently (Don't say anything along the lines of, "Abortion is stupid." or "Illegal immigrants need to get on a boat back to their country."), you'll do great! Speaking to children 8 years and over about drugs and what the future holds for them if they use them. Alcohol and smoking should also be included. Today's children are tomorrow's future.
